In 2010 I started following fashion and style blogs religiously. I was in high school and it was before the time of Instagram so I’d check for new blog posts on the school computers during study hall. It was such an escape for me to see these stylish people documenting their outfits in a way that inspired me to do the same. I got in trouble with the dress code more times than I can count because I was always experimenting with my outfits.

I started a blog in 2012 that ultimately flopped and again in 2017. I’ve decided to start a personal style blog hoping that the third times a charm. I’ve wanted to do this for over a decade and finally decided to stop letting the fear of it hold me back. Why should I hold myself back from something I love because of the fear of failure? For me, documenting my style and outfits is about creating. Each shoot requires a vision, a mood board, a feeling. What do I want to capture with this look? What memories do I want to create?

I took these photos with a dear friend of mine last summer. I’ve been thinking about starting this blog for nearly two years now and decided to finally share. I have one blog post. The site isn’t finished. I don’t know what my aesthetic will be yet. I wanted to start before I was ready. Progress over perfection. I’m here. The site is live and I’m jumping in ready to swim and make this work. This time feels different because I’m doing it for me. It makes me happy and fills my cup. I don’t have deadlines or quotas or metrics to meet. It’s a passion project and I hope you enjoy following along. Thank you for being here.
