One of my favorite brands is Rachel Parcell. I have followed Rachel for years now and absolutely love her content so it felt like a natural progression to fall in love with her clothing brand. I appreciate that she designs feminine pieces that are modest. I personally don’t love showing my cleavage or wearing dresses that are two short so I know I can always count on her dresses to be modest and flattering.

This navy-blue floral dress is one of my all time favorites that I have had for about three years now. Sadly, it’s not available on her website anymore but you might have some luck searching for it on Poshmark. This dress has definitely gotten the most wear; however, it still looks brand new.

I did decide to spice it up this fall and style it with my new white booties and accessories. I remember when Rachel first shared this new dress she styled it with white booties and I thought it looked so cute but I wasn't sure if I could pull it off. Three years later and here I am finally getting on the white bootie train. I think I was just nervous about them getting dirty but I am going to spray them with a protectant spray to help keep them sparkling white.

This dress is great because you can pair it with just about every color of accessory - white, black, and brown - which makes it very versatile. It probably is why I have gotten so much wear out of it because it can be styled so many ways! I think the key for the climate I live in is to buy long sleeved dresses, even summer dresses. The weather is cooler for most of the year here in Wisconsin which means you either need long sleeves or a little sweater or jacket to throw over your shoulders if it gets cold. I feel like I wear my long sleeved dresses more for that reason that I can wear them all year long.
