WILD WEST
The wind was absolutely a paid actor for this shot! I am channeling my inner Joanna Gaines here for sure.
There’s a new sheriff in town! This was one of our outtakes and I just thought it was too funny not to share. This is the kind of stuff that goes on behind the scenes!

Howdy, partner! We are about to enter the Wild West and when I say Wild West I mean watching an episode of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills when they jet set to Kyle’s Aspen home and takes all the ladies to Kemo Sabe to get custom hats made and drink margaritas. Every time I wear this hat I feel just like Kyle Richards when she is in Aspen. It truly is a vibe!
These pants. We need to talk about these pants. I shared them on my Insta stories and I have never received so much feedback from one post before. They are a flared black denim pant from Banana Republic and they are seriously the most comfortable and flattering pair of pants I have ever owned. The flared bottom helps balance out my figure and it makes me look more proportionate rather than top heavy. They lift and tuck where they need to and also length and conceal in all the right places. I absolutely recommend them 10/10.
What are your thoughts about hats? I always want to wear this hat out to dinner but I feel like its a bit too much for where we live. Out West? Absolutely. Do not even have to think about it. Here in Wisco? Feels like people will think I’ve watched a bit too much Yellowstone. Guess I just have to book a ski trip for out West so I can wear this hat! haha
I have had this fair isle sweater on repeat all winter. It is so chic and warm and really all you could need during winter time. I am looking forward to slowly transitioning to lighter sweaters and starting to think about spring dresses. The key to spring dresses in the Midwest is long sleeved dresses. That way you still stay warm but can usher in warmer weather with brighter colors and playful prints. I have some fun spring dresses coming to the blog in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned!
